Very Happy.
Job Brief
Completed over the winter of 2023/24, this project was wonderful to work on.
A contemporary extension design including two gable windows, the addition of a new manhole and soakaway drainage.

We completed all groundworks and brickwork up to roof height, leaving our client incredibly satisfied with their completed home extension.
Groundworks
A perfect dig and pour for the foundations helped us to build the substructure quickly (even in typical British weather conditions).
Superstructure
The bricks on the extension were perfectly matched to the existing structure, resulting in no difference once completed.

The existing structure was constructed completely by steel frame, which resulted in us fitting new internal steel posts internally to take the weight of the beams required for the extension.

The project made use of 6 steel beams, including a cranked beam to allow for the triangular window above the second bedroom. This allowed for high ceilings, creating a spacious feel to the interior.
We also fitted two steel posts on the interior in order to take the weight of the cranked beams from the ridge beam. This included excavating within the existing structure, and
pouring foundations for the posts to be fixed into.

Overall both the client and ourselves were very pleased with the end result.
We were specifically happy with the brick match, as the extension blends seamlessly into the existing structure, just one example of the care we take on all of our
projects.
